I’m happy to provide references as needed. You can also read below to see what those I write for or about or edit for have said about working with me.

  • Bridgette is without a doubt, one of the best writers I have worked with. She's extremely professional, highly responsive, efficient, an excellent collaborator and communicator. She always meets her deadlines and is an extremely talented and skilled writer that knows what questions to ask in interviews so that she can write an informative and interesting article. In addition to her wonderful arts and entertainment coverage for The Argonaut, where she covers everything from local theater performances and dance troupes to museums and musicians, Bridgette has covered a diverse range of topics including education, business, health & wellness, and profile pieces. She has written countless cover stories for The Argonaut and is my go-to writer when I have assignments that require extra care and attention to detail. Above all, her pleasant demeanor, positive energy and "can do" attitude make her an absolute pleasure to work with!

  • On March 2nd, THE ARGONAUT featured an article on PERSONALITY CRASH and the exhibition. The author of the piece, BRIDGETTE M. REDMAN, was very thoughtful, loving, and tender in the way she shared our story. It was such a pleasure meeting her through this process.

  • Thank you for your great feature in the Pasadena Weekly! You did a terrific job! I felt I was not entirely coherent on the phone, and, in the usual Redman way, you spun various ideas into gold. Thanks to you, even at the height of Omicron, we're sold out before the weekend even starts. Totally appreciate it!

  • Thanks soo much for helping to start the new year in such a great VIVA LA kinda way! Your article is spot on, we all love it! I feel you did justice in explaining Christian's whole visionary concept for the mobile studio and supporting the artist M. M was also very much moved by the story. you've given her a big boost of confidence. From Pershing Square to the LA Convention Center, I'm so happy you've been reporting on this one year arc. Your wonderful writing is really helping to keep the VIVA LA momentum going forward.

  • Hi Bridgette, I just wanted to reach out and let you know that I always believe you treat us fairly … I know you have a love for the bard, and favorable review or not, you are always respectful and knowledgeable and I appreciate that. I feel that you should know that.

  • You’re a breath of fresh air! I so enjoyed speaking with you today. I felt like I was talking to a long lost best friend and shared my true feelings about this profession and this town…Your article made me cry tears of joy! ( I sure better never tell you something I don’t want repeated. What a memory!)

  • Bridgette, everyone thinks highly of you. I remember whenever I was in a show (or my fellow actors) we always wanted to get a good review from you when you were with the Journal writing reviews. You have a lot of credibility with the theatre crowd. People (actors and directors) always wanted to have their show favorably reviewed, but they always knew that you were not going "throw them a kiss" because you knew them or were friends.

  • Your professionalism, clear-headedness, and insight have never been mean spirited. You are a very respected (and very well-liked), thought-provoking writer with one of the most open minds I've ever known. I know I speak for the majority of the theatre community in saying, "We believe in you. Keep doing what you're doing, and we'll definitely keep reading!"

  • Any consistent, articulate voice in support of creativity is a huge asset in our community. One that has a platform and a reputation, as you do, is invaluable.

  • Your eloquent words are very effective at communicating what depression is to people who may not understand it. Depressed people are often told to "get over it" by those who simply do not understand that depression is not a bad day or a bad mood, but a black cloud that can be impossible to shake. I hope this reaches many people, depressed and not, and helps them all understand more about this disorder.
